Lowest Price Suikoden Tierkreis

As others have pointed out, the hero's VA is particularly atrocious, super fast and super angry all the time. What a dislikeable brat! - which would have been fine if we weren't meant to believe he was the charismatic (albeit teenage) leader of a rebellion force. The VA for other characters is marginally less ridiculous. Marginally. Honestly, I found this all a little hilarious and not irritating at all.

One dislike I had was the sheer number of characters you can recruit. I would have loved this feature if you could just recruit them to join your 'side', but the fact they are all playable means you lose track of who has what skills/stats and what weapons.

Not that it matters. The mobs (including the bosses) are so easy that you could kill them with pretty much any levelled character. The imbalance between character strength and mob strength has the additional consequence that you don't really need to use any special skills to defeat them, which is a pity seeming as so much of the storyline revolves around these skills.

On the plus side, the plot was very immersive and interesting, and a very decent length. The general gameplay (battle, shop structure, NPC interaction) was fantastic and very true to Suikoden's RPG base, if not completely in line with the previous Suikoden titles. These factors outweighed the negatives for me, and made this a four star game.Get more detail about Suikoden Tierkreis.
