Phantasy Star Online fans...the wait is over. This game is the main reason I bought a DSi XL, and it was worth every penny. The gameplay looks and feels exactly like PSO. The button configuration is the same, and the way you aim and execute timed hits is the same. The sound effects are straight out of PSO as well, so it is a welcome throwback to the good-old days. The interface is nice...no need for a stylus here, just touch the lower map to expand it and every thing else is controlled by buttons. I have not gone online yet, but it is a shame that they did not allow the pictochat style communication without friend codes. This game would have been incredible with that feature available for everyone. I guess they didn't want people putting vulgar language or pictures over the internet since the DS is used by so many kids. They can't really filter handwritten text or pictures. The game would have been a classic with that feature. Either way...hats off to Sega, this is a great game and they seem to be making a comeback these days.Get more detail about Phantasy Star 0.
