I'd only really heard of Harvest Moon. A friend of mine is a HUGE fan of the series, though and let me briefly play one of her games. So, when I got a DS, she immediately recomended Rune Factory. Saying something about it being more to my liking than the one she'd shown me because of its theme. And, well, she was right! I think there are a few things in the game that could be fixed. But otherwise, as a RPG fan, it's lots of fun and seems to set good goals for you reach (so far as I've played). There's no immediate rush to anything, just a consistant flow. Take your time. It's rather relaxing, especially in comparison to the older Zelda games for the Nintendo 64 or many of the new action games that get your adrenaline running and leave you in violent frustration by the bosses you HAVE to beat or the game won't progess. ><'Get more detail about Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.
