I ordered this game for an upcoming trip to England to give me something to do on the plane. I have been caught out in the past buying a game and then getting on the plane and not really enjoying it, so I now try games before I travel. This game started slowly and was very easy and I wondered if I was going to like it, but the difficulty picked up to an enjoyable level. It is strangely addictive trying to earn enough food/supplies/gold to build Rome and well.....I have almost finished this game and now need to find another game for my trip!
If you like the jewel match games you'll love this. Shorter times for each level than I am used to on other jewel games adds to the difficulty. A few of the boards took me several attempts to complete. Overall a fun, addictive game....so much so that I just couldn't save it for my flight!Get more detail about Cradle of Rome.
