My 7 year-old researched horse games for Wii and chose Petz Horsez 2. She purchased the game with money she received from relatives for Christmas. This is a silicone skin for the DSi. It fits snug and adds color and grip. It protects the surface from scratches.

It does not cover the camera lens or protect the screens.

History Channel games may not be technically the most innovative, but if you enjoy the Roman period of history, this is a fun game. It is basically a DS version of Legion Gold so if you played Legion on the PC, then you will know what you are getting.

If you haven't played Legion, the game involves building structures within your city (farms, mines, baths, etc) which allow your city to grow and better types of soldiers to be recruited. Velites (spear throwing light infantry) and peasants are the beginning types you can recruit.

When combat occurs, you can arrange your units, select your formation and basically let them go (there is no control once the battle starts). the top screen of the DS shows the little soldiers hacking away at each other (no blood or gore, very PG), the bottom screen lets you scroll over the battlefield.

I've been waiting for this game since the GBA announcement, which got cancelled, then made into RE: Gaiden. Now, finally a version on a portable that does the game justice. This game is a port of the playstation game, (as oppose to Gamecube Remake.)

The story is about bizarre murders of people being eaten that have been happening on the outskirts of Raccoon City and the police S.T.A.R.S Bravo team has been sent in to investigate and stop the murderers, but the communication with Bravo team has been lost durning the investigation. This is where the 2 main playable characters'(Chris and Jill), Alpha team, come in. They go to seach and rescue Bravo team only to be chased into a mansion by zombie dogs.

You can play the classic playstation game or the Rebirth mode, a mode that has rearranged things and has more monsters that make it harder; this is a mode for the veteran players of this game. This mode also uses some of the DS's features such as the touch pad to solve puzzles and slash at zombies with the knife, and even the 2nd screen has the map always being displayed. This game even has a multplayer mode.

The characters control like tanks; many people hate this but I have no problems with the tank controls. [Tell me how can you do a fixed-camera game without tank controls, RE2 for the N64 lets you control relative to the camera oppose to the character, and believe me, the game is unplayable with those controls, but I digress.] This has to be the most ease-of-use controls for the classic pre-RE4 games. It lets you tactically reload; out of the item menu. It lets use the knife like in RE4 with the left shoulder button, this I really like because now the knife doesn't take up precious item space.

In conclusion, I can never get bored with these games; can be beaten in 1 sitting, but multiple endings and scenarios and just the atmosphere keep you coming back. This game is the best version gameplay-wise, gamecube for the graphics. Need for Speed: Nitro

First off I have completed 100% of both the NDS and Wii versions of this game. I still play them a lot, and I want more! Need for Speed Nitro has got to be the freshest, most original car racing game I've ever played on the Nintendo DS. GET THIS GAME AND GET IT NEW! Here is why:

GRAPHICS & PRESENTATION
The menus and screens are finely designed and easy to navigate the music can be changed while going through it all which makes things a bit more pleasant. There are 30 cars, fortunately they're all pretty awesome. Plenty different missions, all fun, good times there. The style of the cars and the graphics they're rendered in are nothing short of spectacular! The design of the cars is a very attractive, fresh and original one that goes perfectly with the fun world you'll race in. The levels are designed well, and while racing everything just looks amazing, especially for a NDS game! Car customization is okay but nothing special, good thing the cars already look awesome!! Also the screen shots for the NDS version of this game do no justice, it looks WAY better playing it first hand.

SOUND
The music tracks in the game are played with great quality! Some songs aren't too hot while others are pretty cool the tracks can also be changed while racing and having that option great. Racing and engine sounds are nice, even more so when using the nitro. Like many other elements the sounds also work great with everything else.(I sometimes turned the music off, played by the PC and blasted my own tunes which I thought was a neat idea, but the music here is still good!)

GAMEPLAY
For racing this really makes or breaks the game, fortunately it REALLY MAKES it! The controls and gameplay are very smooth, easy to pick up and very natural! Racing like a pro is accessible, in a good way and winning the harder races will require a good amount of logic and focus, and while some races might be easy the gameplay really keeps the fun alive! EA has done well tweaking the overall gameplay to perfection and I enjoyed the NFS Nitro games more than any other Need For Speed game.

CONCLUSION
For the price, wow, yes, get it! I got it new to support this awesomeness but that's just me. I am quite anxious for a sequel, it will rock. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker Decide Now

Let me start by saying that I have played both Dragon Warrior Monsters and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure and Cobi's Quest (the three games that preceded this one) and I have to say this one is a disappointment compared to those. Overall not a bad game though, especially if you have not played the originals.

DQM Joker has many fewer monsters and monster families than the originals (some monsters are even just carbon copies of other monsters but with a different color scheme); with a game about taming monsters (or scouting as it is called in the game) and raising them this is very disappointing. Also the mechanics of scouting make it extremely frustrating to capture even low class monsters; forget about the higher class ones as their nearly impossible. The graphics are good and the 3D approach works well except there is some graphics pop-in where monsters will just suddenly appear out of nowhere. The story is also decent compared with most video games nowadays. The system by which your monsters learn skills is interesting but overall inferior to the ones from the original games. Also there are fewer skills in this game than there were in the originals. Finally the difficulty of this game is less than the originals probably because you no longer have access to super powerful spells which is bad because I like a challenge.

I may have focused to much on the bad but that is only because this game is a disappointment compared to the others. I would recommend this game if you only have a DS and are looking for a game in the same vein as Pokemon (My own opinion but the Dragon Warrior Monster games are much better; trust me as I have played the games from both franchises) but if you have a Gameboy or a Gameboy Advanced then buy the originals; they are much better.

Front Mission is a pretty fun game, from what I can see so far. Unlike many tactics games, which seem to be packed full of meaningless, easy fights whose sole purpose is to pad out the length of the game, Front Mission has challenging fights that not only require the player to maneuver his mechs with care and foresight, they also require him to design his mechs properly. A mech with a bad loadout will stand no chance on the battlefield no matter how crafty the player is. Except for the arena matches, each battle also has a story to back it up, so there are no random fights in this game. I consider that a good thing.

Some downsides are that the extreme customization the game offers is undermined by the fact that, generally speaking, only the most up-to-date equipment is suitable for your next mission. That means a lot of buying new parts and selling old parts, so much so that by the time you're done your favorite mech designs will probably look nothing like what they did originally. Also, if you can't afford these new parts, then you're going to have to do a bit of grinding for money in the arena, and that can get kind of tedious.

Finally, graphically speaking, since this is a port of a Super Famicom game, the graphics are going to be a bit behind other offerings on the DS. The units also appear to be rather small on the screen and it can be hard to select them with the stylus UNLESS you play it on the Nintendo DSi XL Burgundy. The larger screens make playing this game much more convenient.

This was one of the better DS games that I have played. I love solving puzzles, and it was a challenge. There are no instructions with any of the safes - you have to use your powers of observation to figure what to do for each one. This can be a bit frustrating, but usually when you figure it out, it's pretty obvious :) I liked the puzzles without numbers the best, as they were more fun to figure out how to work them. The number safes were just frustrating, minus one or two of them, because you didnt know if you just hadnt opened the right safes before it for the code,or if there is something you are supposed to notice to figure out the code (ie. worn pads, etc.) The only two negative points about the game were not knowing which safes to open when, as even if you could figure them out, some wouldnt open until after the correct previous one had been opened, and that it was so short! I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I'm not sure who loves it more, me or her! This is so much fun to play and if you follow the tips on the game for hand comfort it is actually easier on my hand than playing the big guitar in regular Guitar Hero. I only loop my thumb through the grip instead of my whole hand and then I place a pillow on my lap to rest the DS and my wrist on.

We have Band Hero for our Wii and have this for her DS and love them both. This game on the DS (ours is the DS lite so it has the extra hole in the bottom for the adapter) is a fun thing to take on the road and it does have the option to play along with friends if others also have the game. It starts out quite easy on the lower levels and the upper levels get quite difficult!

If you're into games like Hotel Dusk or Phoenix Wright, then you'll probably like this game. The story provides a decent mystery and keeps you off track from solving key info for most of the game, though nowhere near as well as Heavy Rain.

The actual game-play itself is a little too linear and easy. There are essentially only two variations of investigation: visiting a site for clues and interviewing people. Visiting the sites is simple enough; explore, find stuff, click to investigate. Sometimes finding the right object can be difficult, but it makes sense once you find it.

Interviewing people is easy and repetitive. You talk to a person and then just select every option you're given. Sometimes you have to talk to people who don't know anything, but the story won't progress unless you do thus making the game very linear. There are good details that come about and help you get closer to solving things, but for the most part the game wastes your time. The system doesn't even make good use of the option to show people items/evidence.

MySims Racing Decide Now

I love the MYSIMS series. I own all but the first one for DS which I was stupid for trading in for a better game. These games take the cuteness of Animal Crossing(Another game I need again and was stupid for trading in) the versatility of Will Wright's Sim series and throwing a touch of humor that is wickedly clever and at the same time makes you feel welcome in these towns. This game is a stellar example of how a series has evolved from a hand held version of a Wii title and become a cult classic.

I would like the reader of this to take note, I am a 22 year old college student not a six year old and yet I find myself picking up these games and keeping them permanently in my collection even after I beat them. I particularly love how the creators of this series keep reinventing the wheel. In this case it is the classic Kart game and it is probably on par with Mario Kart for DS.

This game plays similar to the others in the series, earn stars unlock new things but this time there are some twists. Everybody either is driving a kart or needs picked up for a side mission, and the town feels as if Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon has make love to the Mario Kart series and this is the result.

If you love Kart Games or just need something to get your adrenaline pumping, this is it. Forget the cutesy characters and E rating and check it out. You may become addicted.

Awesome! The screen cleaners work really well!I love the carrying case and
wrist strap! The screen protecters are, however, worthless because they
leave air bubbles behind- you cannot see what you are doing!But that does
NOT mean you shouldn't buy it- I think you should! The instuctions are
OK but DO NOT have very clear givings when it comes to SCREEN PROTECTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your kid already has a DS or a DSI and LOVES it, than it is a very good
present.As mentioned earlyer, MY ONLY MISGINGS ARE THE SCREEN PROTECTERS!!!!!!
By the way, I bought two.I also bought two Nerf Protecters and they are
awesome exept you cannot use the really cool stand-up charger when it is
on. A good use of your money.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY SCREEN PROTECTERS SEPERETLY BEFORE TRYING THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!

Low Price Bleach: Dark Souls

At first, I was trying to figure out If this was a cardgame or not, but, In fact it was one of the best combat games for the nintendo
DS system. Bleach: Dark souls has a wide variety of characters to play as in arcade mode,a great storyline, but the whole spiritcard
thing is confusing. But I went on and beat the whole game in one day without them. Even though this game is really easy, it is fun to play. Even if one has already beaten the game, he/she will enjoy playing arcade mode, where you can earn extra money so that you can
purchase items at the Urahara shop. I would reccomend this game to anyone who likes manga/anime. If your'e reading this, Bleach: Dark souls is for you.

Save DSL Invisi-Shield

I bought this for my daughters new DS for Christmas. They are not the easiest to put on and you must make sure your screen is 100% clean. Even the tiniest bit of dust will stick and be there forever.
