I love this game, This is my favorite game, along with Million Heir, but I agree with most of the reviews here-the graphics are definitely too small. I wear reading glasses to read and sew, and of course, when I play my ds. It's hard to spot some of the items in the seek and find. I guess it would be a little easier on the pc game, but I like my ds. And sometimes it takes tapping a few times before an item will 'disappear' when you locate it, earning you a random tap penalty. (I thought that was just my ds, though.) Maybe not.
I think it's basically a good story line, has a variety of things to do and holds the interest. I couldn't put it down for a long time and and will hang onto it for future use. I'm not sure that younger kids will be able to play this game, since some of the items are pretty difficult to find, I expect it depends on the individual child.Get more detail about Cate West The Vanishing Files.
