I don't mean to be biased, but Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations is the best game I've ever played. As a warning for those who are unfamiliar with the series, you should know that this game will make absolutely no sense unless you've played the other two games (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All) first. For those of you wondering whether to continue with the series, I cannot encourage you enough to do so. They have finally perfected the gameplay for the least amount of frustration during investigations, improving the magatama function and removing profiles as presentable evidence. There's still a little bit of the plug and chug - having to go around presenting every piece of evidence to every person when you get stuck - but it has been greatly reduced. More importantly, the writing is wittier than ever, the new prosecutor Godot is a perfect mix of mystery and hilarity, and the cases are engaging and filled with more turnabouts than ever. Many old characters make an appearance, and many new ones establish themselves in the Ace Attorney cannon - Phoenix's college sweetheart for one. The only issue is the difficulty of finding a copy of this game. I, for one, suggest checking Amazon Marketplace regularly and waiting for someone to post a cheap copy in decent condition. This is an old game that's been out on handheld systems since the days of the GBA and has enjoyed an extremely long franchise lifespan with numerous sequels and off-shoot titles being released on an annual basis. If you're wondering what all the hoopla is about 'Ace Attorney' is certainly the title to start off with being the first game in the series and introduces a core cast of characters that will appear in subsequent titles as well as its trademark court-room drama gameplay. At its heart, this game series fits into the adventure-game genre with a rather epic story unfolding before your eyes. Quite surprisingly this is one looooooooooong game. I played it off and on for a period of 3 months and estimate that it took me a solid 12+ hours of gameplay to complete. Yes, the game is text heavy with plenty to read and some of the puzzles defy logic and will require the googling of hints (just a few, really) but the zany humor and color cast of characters kept me plugged through till the very end. Pokemon Ranger Top Quality

I got this game as a gift and I'm about half way done with it.
I'm 20, a girl, and have played all the older rpg pokemon games.

I liked it a lot because what you have to do in the game is so clearly laid out for you that it's impossible to fail. The game is easy and something to do if you are bored but don't wanna stress yourself out with a challenge. However, since I grew up playing the REAL pokemon games, I was a little upset that you don't get to keep your pokemon in this game and travel with them. Also, you might look like a COMPLETE loser playing this game in public - in order to catch any pokemon in the game you have to draw big circles with the stylus, on the touch screen, very fast and you DO look silly doing it hahaha :-)

I will probably resell this game soon though, it is easy to lose interest in the game since you are only completing missions in it and not working to build up to a massive final battle like in all the "color" pokemon games (red, blue, green etc)

Dragon Ball: Attack of the Saiyans is a fun 2D RPG. Its like final fantasy but with Dragon Ball characters and specials. You get a limit break type of attack and you can also combo attacks with other party members to make a super attack. You can also swap out party members during battle. The game does not make use of the touch screen at all. Imagine my surprise when I tried tapping on the screen to make the character move and nothing happened. Pretty strange for a DS game not to use the touch screen. The other odd thing about this game is the most of the action appears on the top screen. The bottom screen is for menu commands. The game is also very easy. You level up within 3 or 4 fights and the fights are short. I thought after the a while the leveling up will slow down, but it didn't. So theres no need to level grind because by the time to walk to where the boss is, you would have leveled up from all the random encounters. Where To Buy Rabbids Go Home

If you are a fan of any of the other Rabbids games, you may be dissapointed. It does hold true to the typical puzzle-type game as the others but in a boring, blah, not excitable kind of way. It does not-at-all resemble the many, many commercials that advertised the game. The rabbids simply build and use contraptions; this is a game of physics, not fun. There is no running around the city stealing things from the store, people on the streets, from anywhere...which is what I expected from the commercial (watch the advertisement on Amazon). We were looking for a good creative game for our daughter who just turned 8. I saw this game which seemed like it had promise. My daughter loves it. She tends not to be a direction reader, but was still able to figure out by trial and error most of what she had to do. My guess is that people more familiar with these sort of games will catch on to the interface even more quickly. There were a few frustrating bits that took a quick look to the instructions to understand, but once cleared up were no problem. Overall, seems well designed, leaves plenty of room for creativity, and seems especially well suited to those in between children that want a bit of adventure, maybe aren't interested in dolls, but still like some social interaction between the characters. ( even if some of it isn't all that friendly ( one of her characters ate another one by accident ).

Low Price Nintendo DS Titanium

I got the original Nintendo ds as an xmas gift in the 2004 new year 2005 season, and I have to say I am pretty impressed by the overall quality of the system. This Nintendo ds is the Silver platinum color scheme which is the first color at the time. I've dropped this thing a billion times and even spilled water on it and it works flawlessly. That's the thing you can always expect from Nintendo is quality and durability. I've never had a nintendo system fail on me from the n64 to gbc to gba to gcn whatever. Unless your actually trying to break it its not goin to break. I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, but my L and R shoulder buttons just don't work anymore. I have no idea why but they just don't work. That is the only problem i have right now. It frustrated me because they died after the warranty expiration date. The ds also has wireless multiplayer gaming with one card with some games and a pictochat mode, gba slot. Sadly no gbc games or gameboy games can be played which is a huge dissapointment. The multiplayer with gba games doesn't work either due to the abcence of the multi link cable port missing. Overall a pretty good system, very durable. I do realize that there are ds lites, and the dsi, and the dsi xl but to me its not worth it. I hardly ever use the ds and theres no incentive for me to buy a remake. Thats the critical problem with the ds is the gimmicky rediculous games it has. I have 3 games that I enjoy playing on this thing. That's why I'm rating it as 3 stars. I mean if your a parent who has kids in the 4-9 year old range it will satisfy them and will probably be a good buy. Im a freshman in college and I require more entertainment in my games. Brain age and brain age two and nintendogs just dont satisfy my needs. Theres three games that I love to play, Super mario 64 ds, mario kart ds, and new super mario bros. thats about it on the games library in my range. Some nintendo ds games have a online feature which is a step in the right direction and is a pretty cool feature concerning games. Nintendo needs to make a super smash bros. or a f-zero game for it or port mario party 1 2 and 3 from n64 over. Mario party ds failed. I played it for 5 seconds after renting it and returned it. That's my biggest problem with the ds is theres not alot of games that spark my interest except for a few. Those that liked ocarina of time or majoras mask for the n64 will be dissapointed with phantom hourglass and spirit tracks. Again they are extremely gimmicky and just not the same. The touch screen is a complete joke and just a huge gimmick sucker. All the Nds games revolve around it. In general i wouldn't recommend this system to the teenage audience. Overall I love the ds and just how durable it is but like i said I wish nintendo would make better games for it. Another thing I have to add is the pictochat function. It's extremely gimmicky. It's basically a texting tool and you quite literally have to be in the same room next to somebody because it doesn't reach very far. I could just talk to the person if he or she is in the same room. It does do nicely though if your like in a quiet zone and have to be quiet. Otherwise it is not to exciting, just another gimmicky ds feature.

Problem is that it is hard to figure out what you need to do to feed, train, play with your pet. Lowest Price Little League World Series 2009

Little League 2009 is the sequel to Little League 2008 and I have both and 2009 is way better. All of the graphics are a lot better and improved and theres like 100 teams to choose from all over world. Pitching is same as last year, but batting is way different and easier. I didnt understand batting at first but the training really helps explain it and its much easier to hit exactly where you wan tto go with the ball. 2009 is easier than 2008 except for the tournament and that gets pretty hard (I aint beat the world series yet.) 2008 was a really good game but 2009 is even better.Get more detail about Little League World Series 2009.

Yep, I recieved this game as a birthday gift. I thought this was another word search game but it turns out to be anagrams.
Which are a different ball game all together. You can be a Novice which you get 9 tries of guessing what the word will be. Apprentice 8 tries, Adept 7 tries,Master 6 tries, Wordmaster 5 tries. Each level allows you less tries to solve the puzzles. The goal of the game is to discover the hidden word. I saw A steal on this game on amazon.com so i bought it ,i was impressed by what i saw. I just wanted to clear some things up. I rented this game to see how "challenging" the first level was. i beat it in minutes and was really confused on what was so hard about it--especially for adults. I could see younger kids having problems, but adults who are savvy with video games shouldn't have a problem. There are arrows in the grass and little bird footsteps to tell you which way to go. When you are near an object, it will tell you what button to push. I can't say I was crazy about the controls however. The graphics weren't bad, and the game was at least 3 D. The second level was annoying... you have to hit the hearing aid to keep the dogs away, but if you don't, and forget, then you have to fight off 3 dogs...weird. I like to teach kids not to be abusive to animals...but whatever. Just wanted everyone to know this game is not as challenging as the some of the other reviewers have been claiming. Unsolved Crimes Top Quality

This is a game with much realism and practicality. Don't expect to decipher mysterious symbolic clues, play puzzle or maze games or place boiled eggs on fake bird nests to solve your cases. Those actions belong to fantasy detective games. In "Unsolved Crimes" you play a real life rookie detective in the NY Homicide Division.

Before hitting the crime scene you are given a training case, "Learning the Ropes". Graffiti was found in the alley behind the police building and there are 4 suspects. A briefing of the case is presented, you check the evidence, review the suspects profiles and their testimonies. Then you head to the alley to find more clues.

I almost did not get to play this game. At the alley, nothing I clicked had any relevance. The game was at a standstill until I decided to ignore the message, "There's trash everywhere" in one of the trash piles and insist on taking one closer look after another into the trash. With my insistence I found an appointment book hiding under it. This item was the clue to later solving the case.

After completing the training you are given the first homicide case. "Death in the Suburbs". Howard Loman, a 42 year old car salesman was stabbed to death in his home. His wife found him dead in the living room when she returned home from grocery shopping. She called the police There are 3 suspects: his wife, a man who owed Loman money and a thug that was found sneaking around the neighborhood. As initial evidence you have the murder weapon (a knife) and the grocery store receipt.

The second homicide case, "Dead Man's Hand" is about an apparent suicide. Police found the victim, Michael Snyder, sitting on a chair, dead, with a gun in his right hand. The bullet went through both his temples. There were 3 other people with him--friends of the victim from high school who belonged to the same baseball little league. It is not clear what they were doing in Snyder's apartment.

And so on for a total of 12 cases. Right now I have solved the first 5 cases and will be starting number 6, "House Search".

Basically in all the cases what you have to do is find relevant evidence at the crime scene and study the testimonies of the suspects comparing them against each other. Once you find who is not telling the truth by the inconsistencies of his story, you find the murderer.

The only exception to this pattern, up till now, is the third case. It is short and does not get solved completely. In this one you have to look fast at a car that is driving away and recall the license plate. Remembering correctly solves the case partially and allows you to start the fourth one. It looks like this third case will later be combined with one of the following to find its final solution.

Barbie Fashion Show: an Eye for Style Review

This game allows the child to select outfits, color them and add designs, pick models, hair, shoes, etc., then set up the runway colors, decor, and background music, and finally view the fashion show taking six pictures per each show.

Barbie talks you through the entire process. One drawback is that Barbie uses the same phrases frequently, e.g., "I couldn't have done that better myself." Or "Great choice." But it's all positive and constructive. To a child I don't think it appears/sounds as redundant as it does to me.

My opinion is that the game is very appropriate for a five year old, but I also saw an eight year old girl who had the game and seemed to have an appreciation for it.

This is a game your child can do on her own; you won't need to sit next to her giving blow by blow instructions. However, keep in mind that each child is unique, and this may not apply to every single child. My guess is that my comments would apply to "most children".

Shop For Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride

Dragon Quest V hand of the heavenly bride shows that video games can have excellent stories. I'll admit that i never played the original version so i'm not quite qualified to tell you how good of a remake this is.
However this is really top notch in almost every area. the graphics are among the best i've ever seen for a 2d game. the music almost always is excellent. i do have some minor gripes though.

You can't buy more then 9 of an item at a time(only 1 of an item at the casino). Way too many battles(holy water is almost useless). Also it takes a little too long to be able to recuit a monster,and your wife while she can useful in battle you are barely given acess to her(about 10-20% of the game) but still this a good game inspite of those minor complaints.Get more detail about Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
