Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Top Quality

A classic point-and-click adventure game. Not in league with Monkey Island 2, but then again, no games are.
The storyline is well written but based around too much talking to other people, which makes the game a bit slow. Most of the game is spent talking to everyone you meet for clues, and not enough time spent on solving puzzles and figuring out how to use our inventory, which I prefer. The atmosphere is nice, but just as I'd come across a mysterious cave or a dark cellar I was out of there after having just picked up an object or pushed a button at best.
The puzzles are too easy, and the interface which allows you to search the screen with your pen makes it impossible to miss out on objects. And there arent that many of them either, making it easy to solve the problems by just trying all the options you've got.

I'd give it 3.5 stars if that was possible.Get more detail about Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars.

Mario Hoops 3 On 3 Best Quality

Cate West The Vanishing Files Get it now!

I love this game, This is my favorite game, along with Million Heir, but I agree with most of the reviews here-the graphics are definitely too small. I wear reading glasses to read and sew, and of course, when I play my ds. It's hard to spot some of the items in the seek and find. I guess it would be a little easier on the pc game, but I like my ds. And sometimes it takes tapping a few times before an item will 'disappear' when you locate it, earning you a random tap penalty. (I thought that was just my ds, though.) Maybe not.
I think it's basically a good story line, has a variety of things to do and holds the interest. I couldn't put it down for a long time and and will hang onto it for future use. I'm not sure that younger kids will be able to play this game, since some of the items are pretty difficult to find, I expect it depends on the individual child.Get more detail about Cate West The Vanishing Files.

USB Charging Cable for Nintendo DS Lite, Black Buy Now

If you were to buy a DS charging cable in the store, you would have two options: AC adaptor or cigarette lighter adaptor. I don't know why this isn't an option as well. A USB cable is a much more convenient and compact way of charging your DS.

As far as the cable goes, it works great! Very easy to plug into your computer or usb power adapter and charge your DS. Much more convenient and compact than the AC charger. Great purchase if you don't always have an outlet available. I personally use mine if I'm in the car; I just plug it into my usb car adaptor and I'm good to go.Get more detail about USB Charging Cable for Nintendo DS Lite, Black.

DSi XL Starter Kit - Bronze Decide Now

Bought this package at a clearance discount due to someone returning it. I know now why they returned it - the case doesn't fit the DSi XL well at all - I feel like I'm squishing the R&L buttons when trying to zip it. Due to the discount, I basically paid for the car charger & protector screens. Protector screens are awesome - my kids didn't even notice I put them on and the touch response hasn't changed at all!Get more detail about DSi XL Starter Kit - Bronze.

DSi/DS Lite Universal Transporter Carrying Case - Pink Right now

It a great case that holds a lot more than it looks like it would. Can easily hold 20+ games in sleeves and more if you put them in the zipper pocket in the interior of the bag. Can hold two DS systems (not the new larger DS systems) in protected sleeves it has for each, and can also hold a wall charger, car charger, and extra pens easily, all in a bag that looks much smaller than it is. Great purchase!Get more detail about DSi/DS Lite Universal Transporter Carrying Case - Pink.

Discount Mega Man ZX: Advent

Let me preface this by stating that I missed out on the Megaman X and Megaman Zero games...by choice. Megaman was one of the first video games I played as a youngster, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I beat it. When the games in this series started shifting away from the original formula, I refused to play them because I'm a stubborn old gamer...but I decided that it had been way too long since I had a good Megaman adventure so I picked this one up at the urging of a friend of mine. This game is far different from the Megaman that I grew up with, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The old-school Megaman games just gave you the option to select a stage with a certain boss that gave you a certain ability if you were able to win. I must say that the open-ended set-up for this game is great, Megaman finally gets the treatment it always deserved...this is an excellent game. The graphics are fantastic for this kind of game, I'm glad to see that more and more 2D side-scrollers keep coming out, this is one of the best that the DS has to offer. The voice acting is a nice touch and the anime cutscenes are well done. It's a fairly lenghty adventure for a Megaman game, it took me about 10 hours to get through it. The controls are great and the music is what you would expect from a Megaman game. I will say that this game is very similar to the 2D Metroid games (and Castlevania games from Symphony of the Night and beyond...which also borrowed heavily from Metroid) as far as save points and the overall layout of the game...not to mention the fact that Grey winds up being a bounty hunter. I give this game an overall rating of 4 stars, 5 stars for the fun factor but I had to take a star away for borrowing so heavily from Metroid (even though that's part of why I like it so much).Get more detail about Mega Man ZX: Advent.

Cheapest USB Car / Home Travel Charger Adapter + USB Data / Charging Cable for Nintendo DSi / Lite / Sony PSP 1000 / slim 2000 / 3000

This is an extremely good buy. I was a little skeptic at first because it cost so little and you got so much, but it came in the other day and I absolutely love it! Everything works great, the chargers charge everything just fine. The usb-car charger works great, it even charges my iPod Touch/iPhone. And the outlet-usb charger works just as good as the usb-car charger. I recommend this to everyone.

Pros:
-very cheap
-comes with 4 (working) chargers, a duel usb car charger that works with most anything, and an outlet-usb adapter that also works great
-shipped fairly quickly with standard shipping
-packaged nicely, very easy to open

Cons:
-only con is that everything feels kinda loose or doesn't feel like it fits in absolutely perfect, but it's not too big a deal, not even very noticeable, just had to bring it up because this is a review.Get more detail about USB Car / Home Travel Charger Adapter + USB Data / Charging Cable for Nintendo DSi / Lite / Sony PSP 1000 / slim 2000 / 3000.

Cheap Ragnarok DS

I shall preface this with the fact that I have not yet finished the game, but I'm very close.

The game controls, graphics and music are good. The music is a direct draw from the MMORPG music, so when you're in Prontera and the Culverts you will get to listen to the real music. The downside is that they don't use all the music or even a good portion of it, so in all the dungeons you will hear the same music. The sounds are the same as the MMORPG.

There are cards in the game and most of the monsters have the same names as they do in the MMORPG. The cards, if I'm recalling correctly, give you the same stat boosts (or a majority of them do) as in game, and even use the same art!

You change classes at level 30 at the lowest, your party members can go past 30, I cannot say for myself if your main character can or not since I changed directly at 30.

The touch screen controls are pretty easy to use. No complaints there.

Biggest complaints? The story is BLAND. Somewhere in the beginning it's like they forgot what they were doing or where they were going with this game. Later at some point they remember "Oh hey, we need an ending! Well uhh, how about this and this happens, and then this? Ok, sold!" The characters have very poor personalities. Stoic, boring main character. Shy, quiet other character. Smart, logical character. Then some comedic relief annoying characters.

Another complaint is some of the maps. Mjolnir and the dungeon right past the Mjolnir maps (coal mines?) suck to navigate.
And, one minor complaint which may not be seen as a complaint by others - the overwhelming amount of gear is... overwhelming! Yikes. It's on par with in-game equipment and gear, that's for sure, but digging through your equipment bags and trying to decide who gets what sucks. It would have been nice if they had lowered your choices a little, or had better help menus and even a larger bag. As a Ragnarok Online MMORPG veteran, even some of this still goes over my head and it's not clear if the mechanics are the same as in the MMORPG (I would expect not, but who knows?)

Oh well, the side quests are interesting at least. I would not say fun, but interesting. I am very disappointed with this game. It had so much promise. I would not buy this game again if I could go back and remake the decision, but because I am such a huge Ragnarok Online fan, I am somewhat happy that it made its way to the DS.Get more detail about Ragnarok DS.

Buying Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

Well I started the game and I really liked it, but then it got boring; through out the entire game you never leave one place, plus the fighting scenes are very hard (almost impossible). But overall it's a pretty fun game, especially the touch screen mini games. I only recommend this game to kids 12 and over.Get more detail about Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.

Buy Kirby Squeak Squad

I have played all the Kirby games before this one and this one is easily by my judging: the best! 120 levels and many new powers. Some powers are similar and some are the same as previous Kirby games but in this one each power has a number of different ways to attack with it. The fighter power for example has 6 or 7 different attacks in it. You can also find hidden scrolls to add even more attacks to each power. Anyways what makes this interesting for the DS is the lower touch screen symbolizes Kirby's stomach. Normally you can simply swallow an enemy and gain their power, but there are "bubble powers" which are the same as regular powers except once swallowed they are stored in Kirby's stomach. These powers can be accessed at any time by tapping them with the stylus, (up to 5 powers, food items, treasure chests of varying sizes, power ups can be stored at one time) if you wish to discard one of the stored abilities you click and drag the bubble up to the top of the screen where it goes up into Kirby's mouth and can either be spat out or swallowed again. There are tons of collectibles and features in the game hidden in each level as well as secret levels. If you enjoyed any of the Kirby games, you should absolutely LOVE this one!Get more detail about Kirby Squeak Squad.

I am so happy they finally made a good sports game for young girls!

My daughter loves this game which not only allows you to play soccer games but lets you manage the team as well. She is very excited that she has been able to interact with the likes of Mia Hamm. Order Mario Kart DS

As a fan of the SNES and N64 version i got this with high expectations. Though i prefer the N64 version the best, the ds version is still very good.

The only complaints i have is that there is a design flaw on one of the tracks where if you get hit by a giant pinball in a particular section than you will crash and get hit again and it practicaly never ends.

Also if you want to beat the game on 150cc than you have to have drifting mastered. If you dont take advantage of the sharp cornering and boost you get from after the drift at every corner than you wont rank in the top 3. Though i have perfected it, its still a big challenge and i cant imagine a little kid having the patience or skill to perform such an advanced technique. Sure all you have to do is hold the R button down but the timing is everything.

Overall this game rocks, just buy it.Get more detail about Mario Kart DS.

Purchase New Super Mario Bros.

I grew up with the Mario games. From the first Super Mario Bros. to Mario Sunshine, I usually enjoyed the portly plumber's running and jumping adventures. But with New Super Mario Bros. for DS, something seemed off to me. Don't hate on me because I'm not one of those people that gave it 5 stars just because it's 'old school'. I played through this game twice, wondering if I missed something the first time around, clearing every stage 100%. Then it hit me- this game was made more for the casual gamer that Nintendo's trying to win over more than it is for those looking for a true new installment to the Super Mario Bros. series (like a Mario 4). A lot of the new elements they put in here aren't that new when it comes down to it, and you're probably better off going with the Wii version, which, while practically a director's cut of the DS version, at least has a few new things in it.

Story-wise, it's the same Mario: Princess Peach/Toadstool gets kidnapped by Bowser, and it's up to Mario to save the day. This time, Bowser Jr.'s up to no good too, and you'll be dealing with him more than any other enemy boss. You'll run, jump, wall jump, smash and fireball your way through a couple of worlds while collecting coins along the way. If you've never played a Mario game before, I guess this is a good start since it has most of the basic Mario elements. But for anyone hoping for something more, you may be disappointed.

I'll get the good out of the way first- the graphics look pretty good, and everything runs smoothly with no slowdown. Some of the levels actually did require me to think about where to go next, like in one of the ghost houses, or at least really look around to find one of the big coins so I could get 100%. The level design is a combination of Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3, the two games that I thought had the best level design of any 2D Mario game. The game's also fairly long, about as long as the two I just mentioned.

Unfortunately, New Super Mario Bros. has so many little problems that they drag the score down big time. First, the new giant and mini mushrooms don't really add anything to the gameplay. You can only use the giant mushroom in select world types for it to be of much use, and even then, it just makes clearing the level too easy. When you smash enough enemies and objects, you get extra lives based on how much of the bar you fill at the top of the screen...and this game is VERY generous with the extra lives, so it's not like you'll ever need more. The mini mushroom is a cool concept on paper since it allows you to run on water and jump a little higher, but it's also much easier to die when small, and harder to control jumps. Where they added these two abilities, they took away any flight powers. No raccoon leaves, and no magic capes. You're either on land or walking on clouds or swimming through the whole game. And I can't stress how much slack the game gives you with extra lives. It felt like I couldn't clear a stage without getting at least two 1-up mushrooms or getting enough coins to add to my already large stock. I also didn't care for any of the boss fights. When you fight Bowser, it's a tribute to how you fought him in the original Super Mario Bros., and all the other boss fights were basic 'jump on them or butt stomp for more damage and they're toast' ones. Where some of the levels were challenging, the boss battles were anything but. Finally, what's with the new enemy designs? I'm not against new enemies in a Mario game, but most of the new guys here really don't fit in with the style of the game and were more distracting than anything.

There are a lot of different multiplayer games, though a lot of them are pretty short and dumb. The one most people I know play the most is the VS mode where one person is Mario and the other's Luigi, and they try to take eachother's coins. These are a nice addition for younger kids, but I doubt anyone over 15's going to get much out of it.

As you can tell, I didn't care much for New Super Mario Bros., but I didn't hate it. I was just extremely disappointed. The game felt very rushed to me, and I didn't hesitate on selling it once I got everything. It certainly isn't worth the price it's going for now, and even with it being a top seller for the DS, it shouldn't be more than twenty bucks at this point. But if you haven't played a Mario game before, and have a regular DS or DS Lite, go with one of the GBA re-releases of the NES and SNES games. You'll get much more for your money.Get more detail about New Super Mario Bros..

Buy Nintendo DSi XL Bronze

Its hard to justify trading up a game system, when it is essentially the same system, just a few more bells and whistles that don't impact the game technology, BUT I give exception this time and only because its the screen size. I did not choose to go from DS Lite to DSi because there wasn't enough to justify the cost.

It is worth noting that I did not purchase this through Amazon, but through a gaming retailer where I have a membership that allows me to trade for store credit. This had a HUGE impact on my decision to trade up, as my trade-in's and the in-store trade-in promo, covered over half the cost of the new DS.

I ABSOLUTELY love the bigger size, which was my sole reason for doing this. It is not much heavier and it is cool to be able to surf the internet wirelessly in my home. (Although this was NOT a deciding factor, since every game system in our home and any other internet capable device is hooked up to our home wireless network)

The sound seems better and the screen brighter with less glare than the other one.

The system comes with a larger 'pen' like stylus, which I haven't used yet but seems decent enough. Will I use the cameras or download games from Nintendo?, probably not. But there they are.

I would not recommend trading up, unless you are an avid player, your current system is acting randy or you don't already own one. If you don't own one, I think it is absolutely worth the extra cash for the larger screen.

For a seek-in-find addict like myself, this will be awesome.

Buying The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

What can really be said about the Zelda series that hasn't been set before? Every single new addition to the series manages to be highly unique while still retaining all the classic elements that fans know and love; it's a claim that few series this long-running can make.

Spirit Tracks retains the overall format of its truly amazing predecessor, "Phantom Hourglass," but this time utilizes a train as your primary mode of transportation. It feels extremely tedious and limiting at first, but as the world opens up around you with your various achievements, it becomes much more involving and fun. There's an awful lot to do in this game, with tons of side quests that keep you occupied in between major objectives. This has the effect of making you feel like you're constantly achieving things, which keeps you up playing a lot more late nights than you will expect!

As with "Phantom Hourglass," the touch-screen controls are spot-on and highly intuitive, making game play just the breeze it should be. The story manages to be engaging, the goals to achieve and the enemies to defeat are all among the most unique to yet be seen in a Zelda title, and the puzzles are satisfying to solve. Also like its predecessor, this game utilizes every capability of the DS in fun and rewarding ways, making for a title that could only exist on the DS, another great reason to own it.

This game DOES fix the tedious and frustrating repetiton that plagued "Phantom Hourglass" when it forced you to revisit the same temple multiple times. The only downside is that the primary temple in THIS game becomes so difficult for your final visit that it's nearly enough to turn you off from playing the game, which should never happen. But everything leading up to that is a real blast, and I highly recommend the game to anybody who's ever loved a Zelda game or needs to discover the series; it's hard to imagine a soul not finding entertainment in this one!Get more detail about The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Lowest Price Puzzler World

I'm a strong puzzle solver, amateur puzzle author, and I solved every puzzle in Puzzler World without hints. I review from this perspective.

On the plus side, Puzzler World is polished and addictive. The puzzles are fast and light, and you get a nice reward flourish when you solve one, so you want to just keep going and solve more and more of them. The game was definitely fun enough to keep playing and was a great way to kill small blocks of time. Also, there were some puzzle types that I found particularly enjoyable -- my favorites were Link-A-Pix and Codeword. Overall, I found Puzzler World fun enough that I wanted to solve every puzzle.

However, on the minus side, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this game, for many reasons. About half of the puzzles were designed for children and could be solved in less than one minute. In fact, an expert puzzle solver could solve many puzzles in less than 15 seconds. Example #1: there are many "puzzles" that involve filling in a diagram where some spaces have dots in them. This is mildly fun with pencil and paper, but with the DS, you just poke the dots with your stylus and the spaces fill in automatically, so there's zero challenge and zero fun from drawing. There are also way too many word searches, hangmans, simple jigsaws, simple math problems, and other trivial, boring puzzles. (Though I have to admit, I do enjoy the simple anagrams.) But besides the many trivial puzzles, there were also too many sudokus. I don't like sudokus, I find them repetitive and a "grind". Fortunately, you don't have to play any puzzle type you don't like -- I chose to solve them anyway so I could beat the entire game. Sudokus were a fraction of the puzzles in the game, but I'd guess that I spent most of my time playing sudoku, just so I could beat all the puzzles. (In fairness, there is a way to get past the grind parts of any puzzle, by using "hint coins" that you gain from solving other puzzles. I just chose not to use any hint coins.) Lastly, I wasn't impressed with the crosswords. I dislike pseudo crosswords where clues are only available in one dimension for some squares, as it means you are more likely to get blocked on a single word you don't know. Again, I could have used the hint coints, but chose not to. In the end, there were only two puzzle types representing about 10% of the puzzles that I found very fun and compelling. In Codeword, you have to decode a solved crossword where all the letters are replaced by numbers. In Link-A-Pix, you have to draw a color picture based on logic.

Bottom line: expert puzzle solvers will not find these puzzles challenging, but, you are not required to play any puzzle type you don't like, and it's still a good way to kill small blocks of free time.

Scribblenauts Right now

Concept
I find the concept of this game very fun. You write words to create objects to solve puzzles. While you can't, of course, write *anything*, the game does recognize a lot of words. I've only had one or two instances where I put in a word that it didn't have a match for.

Handwriting recognition
The handwriting recognition on this game doesn't seem to be very good. I gave up on it pretty quickly. Thankfully, the game provides the option of an onscreen keyboard you can use to type in letters instead. Since the writing mode of entry only accepts one letter at a time, it's not much slower to tap the letters on a keyboard.

Levels
There is a moderately long tutorial world that has levels that teaches you all of the game's mechanics. After that, you buy access to the other levels using the money you earn in the game by completing levels. This is nice because if you get stuck on the levels in one world you can buy access to another world if you have enough in-game money. Once you have completed a level, you can return to it and try to complete it three times in a row without using the same objects (advanced mode). At the beginning of each level you are given a hint as to what you need to do to complete the level. While in some cases this is pretty obvious, in some cases the hint is not clear or there are victory conditions that are not mentioned.

Object Interaction
Objects that you create interact with the world and can interact with each other. However, sometimes the interactions are not what you would expect. One of the things I find frustrating about the game is that some of the interactions that you expect are not what you get. As an example that I found very frustrating and silly, I created a beekeeper to take care of an angry bee in a level. The beekeeper comes wearing the normal beekeeping suit that you would expect. I expected the beekeeper to capture the bee. Instead, the bee attacked the beekeeper until the beekeeper was dead. In another example, I needed to take care of a violent bully. I found out that you couldn't kill the bully or you would lose the level, so I created a police officer, expecting that he would either chase away the bully, arrest him, or at least keep the bully from harming me. The police officer instead pulled his gun and proceeded to shoot the bully until he was dead, at which point I lost the level again.

Object Limitations
Some objects have strange limitations. The most frustrating one that I found was the fact that I never seem to be able to think of a bridging object that will allow me to cross most of the small-looking gaps in the game. If I can't fly over the gap for whatever reason, I usually end up giving up on the level. You would think a bridge would work? Maybe a steel beam? A plank of wood? Nope, all of those things are too short. I've tried a lot of things and had very little success.

Controls
The controls for the game are not very precise. It can be hard to control your character and it is easy to tell your character to move somewhere when you were just trying to tap on an object with the stylus. Both movement and object interaction are done via the stylus.

Summary
To conclude, Scribblenauts is a game with a great concept ruined by a lack-luster implementation. The first levels in Scribblenauts avoid many of the problems I mentioned by not being too complex and having victory conditions that are easy to understand. Once you figure out how to solve a level, going back in advanced mode can be very fun and a bit of a brain-teaser. This is Scribblenauts at its best. One saving grace is that I haven't run into any money issues yet, so when I can't figure out any more of the levels in a world I have been able to move on. I heard that the developer is working on a second Scribblenauts game that is supposed to fix the control issues and allow you to add adjectives to the words, so you could create a "long bridge" for example. If you've only got a small amount of money to spend on games and are interested in Scribblenauts, you might want to wait for Scribblenauts 2.Get more detail about Scribblenauts.

Nintendo DSi XL 20 in 1 Starter Kit - Black Order Now

I just bought my DSiXl and had also bought a carrying case/car charger combo pack for $20.00 along with it at Gamestop. Unfortunately, my dog, Remy chewed up the carrying case, large stylus, and the one game contained within it while I was asleep a few days back. (Thankfully, he didn't get the DSi Xl) In searching for a replacement I came across this product on Amazon and I must say it is really quite a deal. I'll just do a quick run through of the items you will receive:

1. The protective case: It's not made of a hard plastic. I'm not sure if it is actully plastic, but it is sturdy. It is also flexible so while it would definitely protect your DSi XL from drops I'm not sure how well it would do if you dropped something heavy on the case itself or say stepped on it or something. The case's hinge is a piece of thick, sturdy fabric that runs along the entire back edge. The case also has two zippers. When you open it up, in the top part there is a holder for the big stylus and below that (still in the top part) are three sewn in netted areas to hold your games. There are also three little hard game cases for your DSiXL games that are included and they fit right in the netting. My only issue here, and it's a minor one, is that the stylus holder is so close to the top edge of where the games sit that in order to remove the little cases have to use your thumb and forefinger and pinch each case by its top corners to slide them out. This is not a deal breaker just a little inconvenient. If you have big fingers though it might be more of a pain. The bottom part of the case has two sewn in elastic strips that you slide the entire DSi XL under. So this case will not allow for you to play the DSi XL while it is inside it. Unless you cut out the elastic straps, but then I don't think the console would be as secure inside the case as a result. Getting the DSi XL in and out of the case however, is very smooth and it sits snugly in the case when it's all zipped up.
Also included with the case is a nifty Carabiner hook so you can just attach it securely your belt loop if you are on the go. If you don't like the hook, they've included two standard wrist bands.
There's also fabric tote bag with a draw string that easily fits the entire DS and hard case with no problems.

2. The charging dock is awesome. Plug your power cord into the wall and the other end into the dock. The DSi XL then is seated vertically (lengthwise) in the dock. The dock is not super heavy but once the DSi XL is seated in it it's heavy enough to not slide around. The dock also emits a cool blue light (bright enough to light up part of the ceiling in my bedroom) from it's base when it's plugged in. The DSi XL covers most of the light though once it's seated in so you should be able to keep this on your nightstand with no problems.

3. The USB SD card reader is another bonus. Now you can transfer photos from you DSi XL to PC with ease.

4. The car charger seems sturdy and the cord is over five feet in length.

Everything else is pretty self explanatory; the ear buds, audio splitter, screen protectors, cleaning cloth, large stylus, and two small styluses.

I am very pleased with this kit and have decided that calling it a "starter kit" is a bit of an understatement as it has everything you need and more for a really nice price. I was a little worried the kit was going to be cheaply made because of the price but that has not been the case. I bought one of these kits for my brother and he was also very impressed with everything it contained.

I highly recommend this product.

**I've added some photos and I apologize ahead of time for the quality, they were taken with my IPhone and I'm definitely not a photographer.

***Addition. About the screen protectors I haven't used them yet, but my brother did and he offered the following: There are four protectors total. He messed up the first one because there was a speck of dirt on the top screen when he put it down. But the next two he got right and he said that they look perfectly fine and do not interfere with the functions at all. Basically they each have three layers; you peel off the bottom and that reveals the sticky side that is going to go face down, then line it up carefully. He suggested to slowly roll the protector down (like a carpet or a lasanga noodle if that makes sense) rather than laying it flat because it's a better way to avoid bubbles. Once it's in place you peel off the back layer and it's on. Once he got them on he was very pleased with how they looked.

Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes Buy Now

The saga of the republic continues....I am having fun with this game. For me, it is challenging. Some parts are easy and some parts are more difficult which makes the game more challenging than other Star War games. While I am a huge Star Wars fan I do not care for all the games that have been deployed under the name sake. However, this game has been one I would recommend for any one who just wants to have some fun destroying the empire.Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic HeroesGet more detail about Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking This instant

When you look at the Nintendo DS, there have been so many different games that have all been about action, adventure and excitement of all kinds. But what also brought the Nintendo DS to be actually so unique, is the kinds of games we've actually seen develop for the system that taught us on how to improve our minds like Brain Age and Big Brain Academy, to aids that have showed us how to cook. Last year, that feeling showed well with the Nintendo DS with Personal Trainer: Cooking. That game really showed that it wasn't a game, but what else the Nintendo DS really could do, by being a teaching tool for all kinds of gamers. Now, Nintendo has decided to expand those cooking needs with their sequel, and it is in the kitchen.

America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking for the Nintendo DS, feels more like it is a complete follow-up to the surprising ways we saw Personal Trainer: Cooking really expand the Nintendo DS and the way we play our games. There really isn't a whole lot of gameplay that matches here, just the needs and knoqledge of how to make everyday foods we love in our own home like banana bread, and chicken parmesan. The videos really expand well, by having professionals showcase and talk to you through video on how to cook your favorite foods. The graphics though of the game, really don't expand so much, but just add to what had made Personal Trainer: Cooking a fun and enjoyable game. The control is very simple, and the gameplay isn't very strong at all. All that does work, is how the videos really do the talking, and not much to follow-up.

All in all, if you've loved Personal Trainer: Cooking, than this would be a good add-on if you want extra recipes to teach and you want to make great cuisine to impress your friends and family, than America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking is a great addition to your Nintendo DS library. But overall, there really isn't a whole lot that is new if you've never owned the original one before. You can definitely cook up more than just a appetizer, but not enough for the full main course to please everyone.

Super Mario 64 DS Top Quality

Mario Party DS

I ordered this game for something to do for around an hour when I have some spare time. The mini-games are clever and innovative. Easily worth the 30 (aproximate) $ price point. I would recommend it if you have more than 30 minutes. It takes a while to get into a game, and I wouldn't exactly call it a "pick-up-and-play" title. You do need to invest some time, but the end result is a fun and creative experience.Get more detail about Mario Party DS.

Shop For Nintendo DSi Matte - Black

The DSi in matte blue is simply fantastic! I have had the first DS, and DS lite, but this one has so many more features. The camera is my favorite part! You can morph pictures, doodle on the pictures, and tons more, i LOVE that there is a camera towards yourself, not just away, then i can take pictures of me and my friends! The sound mode is SO fun too! Definitely a great buy. One feature i love about the DSi is that you dont have to turn off and turn it back on when changing games, you just pop it out then put a new game in, and you dont have to turn off your DSi to go back to the main menu, like you would with a DS or DS lite. Overall its great, the one thing i would like is if the time setting was not in military time, but there are applications you can buy if you want a 12 hour clock.Get more detail about Nintendo DSi Matte - Black.

Where To Buy Pokemon Platinum

This game is not much different from diamond & pearl and it's not really worth buying unless you're a big fan of pokemon. Catching Giratina was very easy to catch if you use a bunch of ultra balls or a master ball but the legendary's are plentiful and graphics are much better than diamond & pearl.Get more detail about Pokemon Platinum.

Buy Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

I'm not a die hard gamer, but I do own several systems NES, PlayStation that type of thing. This game is not as near as fun as Return of the Jedi for the Super Nintendo or the Pod Race game for 64. I'm captivated by games like Pac Man and Space Invaders 2. So, for people who like higher graphics and slower RPG games this is probably their type of game. Not so fun for people who require continuous action. I like we can use the Force with their stylus/fingers. Maybe this game would be more fun for me if I played it on the Wii and not the DS. Sometimes certain elements get lost in the transition of systems. So, I'll give it another chance when I get it for the Wii sometime...

The nice feature is the easy switch between lego characters. Some games one has to stop and switch through a menu. All one does is communicate with the touch of a button. So, that is a perk. When I got bored playing; I would drop the characters off the side and watch them break apart. As I said, kind of slow as you make it.Get more detail about Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
