What I like about this game is that it preserves the flavor of the original game in the series (Curious Village) and continues to provide hours of fun with innovative puzzles and great animation. The DSi in matte blue is simply fantastic! I have had the first DS, and DS lite, but this one has so many more features. The camera is my favorite part! You can morph pictures, doodle on the pictures, and tons more, i LOVE that there is a camera towards yourself, not just away, then i can take pictures of me and my friends! The sound mode is SO fun too! Definitely a great buy. One feature i love about the DSi is that you dont have to turn off and turn it back on when changing games, you just pop it out then put a new game in, and you dont have to turn off your DSi to go back to the main menu, like you would with a DS or DS lite. This is definitely one of the best products ever made. I use Action Replay all of the time. It works most often, and if it freezes you just have to restart it, which takes about 5 seconds. It never goes out of date because you can put on new codes all of the time. If your computer can not load mini CDs then just type in the codes by hand; it's that easy. Where To Buy Animal Crossing: Wild World

Animal Crossing is so much fun to play, and I can spend hours fishing, running errands for my animal friends, organizing the town's trees and flowers, etc. It's not a traditional game in that there's a goal to save the princess at the end of the level, but there are fun little things to work toward, such as a bigger house, pics of the animals in your town, golden tools, and hybrid flowers. Any description you read of the game sounds like it's fluff for little girls, but I'm 22, and I know a few guys my age who love it as well (but won't be the first to admit it).

It's also the only game I know of that will make you play on its own time. For instance, K.K. Slyder is at the Roost every Saturday night from 8 pm - midnight. And there's Joan that comes to the town every Sunday to sell you turnips.

Of the mama games available, this one is the worst. The time limits allowed are almost impossible to get gold for a lot of the activities. The graphics themselves are cutesy and the overall look of it is clean. It doesn't have any voice overs though which means that it doesn't use the full capabilities of the system. I have had this game for a few months now, have tried most of the recipes available, and have only completed about 5 of them because I get too frustrated with it and turn the system off without completing the other recipes. As a game developer, I have found so many bugs within this game and with the game play itself that it definitely hasn't been worth buying even at only $20.

I would recommend this game to those who don't really care whether or not they get bronze, silver, or gold medals throughout this game. Compared to the other Pokemon games in the series, I feel that Diamond and Pearl are relatively lack-luster.
This group in the series does introduce several new features to the Pokemon Universe (namely online battling and trading), and the storyline at least attempts to be epic. But the selection of Pokemon available to the trainer is relatively limited unless they're willing to put in a lot of extra effort in not only this game and the ones preceding, but other non-traditional Pokemon Games.

The bulk of the Pokemon encountered in tall grass consist of perhaps a handful of common Pokemon that become extremely annoying (Starly and Geodude are probably the most notable.)
And encountering other pokemon in-game practically requires a schedule to remember what pokemon are available when, and in what zone.
My biggest disappointment is that a lot of Pokemon can only be obtained AFTER beating the Elite Four, by swarm, GBA cartridge transfer, or GBA cartridge insertion. You essentially have to act as a Pokemon Breeder to get Pokemon to learn certain moves, as well.

Cheapest Nintendo DSi XL Crystal Case Plus - Smoked Black

Despite what the other reviews say, this case was EXACTLY what I had been looking for. It does hold the extra games even though it only holds 3 but I never was under the impression it held more than that anyways. Even though the description is technically wrong because it did state it holds 6 games, I have the exact case for the DS Lite and the DSI and I knew it wouldn't hold 6. However, aside from that, the case is perfect! It fits like a glove without extra room for it to slide around in but it's also not so tight it won't fit over your DS. The shade of black is not so intense that you can use it for any color DS without it clashing. It has cut outs for all ports on your DS to allow you to still switch out games, plug in headphones, etc. without having to take the case back off to do so. The sliding drawer that holds the games is lined with some kind of super soft rubber material similar to suede in feel that hugs your games nicely and keeps them from getting damaged. And of course the best and most common reason this case would be used for is protection of your DS system. It is made of plastic so it is hard enough to withstand normal day to day wear and tear. It wont allow scratches, dents or dings happen to your system. This case is incredibly cheap compared to purchasing another DS case or system altogether from damage. I recommend this case to ANYONE with a DSI XL or anyone who is in the market to purchase one. It is a good buy! Also, please note, I have the "city case" which holds 3 games as well, it is more of a portable type case to carry your system in (made of cloth/velcro) but even with this case over my DSI XL, it still fits into the city case holder. Low Price Infinite Space

I give IS a 4 star rating because its strengths have hooked me enough to overlook its weaknesses to the point where I am having fun with the game. Make no mistake, there is plenty to both like and dislike about this game. I typically do not like JRPG games but this one is ok with me. I think the space theme connects better with me than the typical JRPG fantasy theme.

What I Like: The game is about stat building. You upgrade your ships. You buy new ships. You buy more ships. You get better technology. You get more crew. You level up your crew. All of these occur through random encounters and scripted missions. This means that if you are willing to grind (patrol the space lanes and fight random pirates) you can get ahead of the game difficulty curve. I love being able to get to the point where I can totally outclass my enemies just by milking the game design. Also, I've come to enjoy the tactical space battles. The game system seems to reward good tactical thinking to point where an enemy can be out maneuvered (or at least it feels like it). The graphics are good and the ship designs are visually interesting. The ship building process is an interesting mini puzzle game in an of itself.

What I Like/Dislike: You can free roam - to a point, only in areas which you've unlocked. The firing sequences in the tactical space battles contain breathtaking strings of techno-babble. At first I laughed, now I just skip them. When your ships are destroyed, they miraculously reconstitute at the next port as long as at least one ship survives.

What I Dislike: The melee system is terrible. As near as I can tell, it is simply a guessing game against the AI. I hate it passionately. Some of the design choices are frustrating. For example, in tactical space battles, your default target is the first enemy ship on the list - always the one that is at the back of the formation and most difficult to hit. Why not set the nearest enemy ship as your default target? To make matters worse, it always resets to that first ship after you kill an enemy ship. Side quests are few and are strictly "fed ex" quests. Documentation/tutorials are useless. You learn nearly everything by trial and error.

This game does have serious flaws. Buy Infinite Space if you like the space theme, enjoy level grinding and can tolerate a bit of frustration as you learn the game.Get more detail about Infinite Space.

This is another great Shin Megami Tensai game for the DS. If you bought and enjoyed the previous one, Devil Survivor, have no fear, for Strange Journey is up to par. It is different, though. In a good way.

The game is HARDCORE. I mean it. If you rush in to boss battles without a plan or go too deep into a dungeon before you should, prepare to learn the hard way not to do that again. And again. And again. The plot motivates you to go on, however. It's actually very fun to follow and you feel genuine concern for the people around you. It takes place in modern day, and don't worry if you've never played another Shin Megami Tensai game, by the way: this is a standalone gig in terms of plot.

Learn Math Review

I bought this game for my 6yr old son. Given the choices of problems available, I'd say the game is a great fit. However, the lack of feedback from the game doesn't allow a kid to learn from its mistakes. For example, the game asks the child to calculate the results of 10 additions (one number remains the same and has to be added to 10 different numbers - 3+1 =4, 3+5= 8,...). So, when the kid does all the calculations correct, the game acknowledges that. However, if one or multiple answers were incorrect, the game just says that this was wrong. It doesn't tell which calculations were incorrect or what the correct answers would have been. Similarly, the game only acknowledges a correct answer if it has been entered in a certain way. As another reviewer pointed out here, you have to enter a multiplication in the right order - without the game telling you what the right order is. So, the game accepts 5x4=20 as correct, but claims that 4x5=20 is incorrect. The same issue appears in puzzle games. If you have to create a shape out of smaller shapes, the game seems to expect that you come up with one very specific solution - even though there are several possible solutions to the problem.
