America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking This instant

When you look at the Nintendo DS, there have been so many different games that have all been about action, adventure and excitement of all kinds. But what also brought the Nintendo DS to be actually so unique, is the kinds of games we've actually seen develop for the system that taught us on how to improve our minds like Brain Age and Big Brain Academy, to aids that have showed us how to cook. Last year, that feeling showed well with the Nintendo DS with Personal Trainer: Cooking. That game really showed that it wasn't a game, but what else the Nintendo DS really could do, by being a teaching tool for all kinds of gamers. Now, Nintendo has decided to expand those cooking needs with their sequel, and it is in the kitchen.

America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking for the Nintendo DS, feels more like it is a complete follow-up to the surprising ways we saw Personal Trainer: Cooking really expand the Nintendo DS and the way we play our games. There really isn't a whole lot of gameplay that matches here, just the needs and knoqledge of how to make everyday foods we love in our own home like banana bread, and chicken parmesan. The videos really expand well, by having professionals showcase and talk to you through video on how to cook your favorite foods. The graphics though of the game, really don't expand so much, but just add to what had made Personal Trainer: Cooking a fun and enjoyable game. The control is very simple, and the gameplay isn't very strong at all. All that does work, is how the videos really do the talking, and not much to follow-up.

All in all, if you've loved Personal Trainer: Cooking, than this would be a good add-on if you want extra recipes to teach and you want to make great cuisine to impress your friends and family, than America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking is a great addition to your Nintendo DS library. But overall, there really isn't a whole lot that is new if you've never owned the original one before. You can definitely cook up more than just a appetizer, but not enough for the full main course to please everyone.
