I originally played this game as a download on my cell phone and was hopelessly addicted to it. So when I got my Nintendo DS....I thought I'd get the DS version and try it out. It is definitely a keeper. I have now tried Cake Mania 2 and 3 as well....and this one is still a winner. The cake/frosting/icing buttons are nice and big. It is easy to distinguish the shapes on the layer cakes. And my personal FAVORITE thing about this game......it saves your final score!!!! I really wish the other 2 games did that. I like the challenge of trying to beat my previous scores. At 1st, I wasn't too crazy about the fact that the screen has to scroll over to get to the place for the toppers...but I got used to it and now it doesn't bug me so much. It is definitely a time management game worth having. If it actually SAVED your progress on each level so you could quit and turn off your DS and then get back to it the following day....I would have given the game 5 stars. As it is....to get a really high score, you have to play the game all the way through.Get more detail about Cake Mania.
